This program involves traveling to refugee camps in neighboring countries in partnership with the Sudan Humanitarian Foundation, a Sudanese led organization that provides direct support to displaced communities through aid distribution, community kitchens, and on the ground services.

Through this partnership, we will travel to places such as Egypt, Chad, and Uganda, where Darfuri communities have been forced to flee. The purpose of this program is not to study or document communities from a distance, but to engage through listening, relationship building, and presence.

Working alongside an organization with established relationships and long term engagement allows this work to take place in a way that is accountable and grounded in trust. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how people are living in displacement, what has changed over time, and what it means to navigate survival, memory, and community across borders.
