Community Conversations
We bring people together to talk about where we come from, what we’ve lived through, and what we’re still holding.
These conversations often begin with shared traditions, the ways we were raised and what our families taught us, and what we’ve chosen to keep or question. We’ve seen how much overlap there is across communities, especially across East African communities. Similar values. Similar tensions. Similar silences. You can speak. You can just listen. You can say something halfway and leave it there. Groups are small. What’s shared stays in the room.
We do this because people are holding a lot, and most spaces don’t make room for that.
