Political Line

Sudan belongs to its people. The future of the country must be determined by Sudanese communities, not foreign governments, militias, corporations, or geopolitical interests. The Darfur Diaspora Collective supports Sudanese self-determination and rejects all forms of external domination over Sudan’s political, economic, and military future.

End foreign interference
Sudan has been treated as a site of geopolitical competition. Regional and global powers have armed militias, fueled war economies, and pursued influence at the expense of Sudanese lives. We reject military, political, and economic interference that prolongs violence or undermines Sudanese sovereignty.

End support for armed actors
Foreign governments and private networks have supplied weapons, financing, and logistical support to armed groups operating in Sudan. These actions deepen the conflict and contribute to violence against civilians. External actors must immediately end all military support to forces fighting in Sudan.

End the exploitation of Sudan’s resources
Sudan’s gold, land, and natural resources have been extracted through networks tied to armed groups and foreign interests. Sudan’s resources should benefit its people, not sustain war economies or enrich outside actors.

Hands Off Sudan is a call for Sudan’s future to be shaped by the Sudanese people. The international community must stop fueling the conflict and instead support justice, peace, and genuine self-determination.
